I grow up in a small town on the coast of Maine. My parents were both Christians
and brought me up to know about God and to be in church every Sunday. By the age of twelve I realized that attending church,
having Christian parents and knowing about God was not enough. There is none righteous, no, not one; Romans 3:10
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23The verdict has been given...the .sentence for sin if death. One
day I would have to stand before God to answer the question of What you did with Jesus...God in his great love for me... Has
made a way to avoid that great and terrible day in His courtroom. God through Jesus has made a way for you to settle out of
court. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart
that God has
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
My parents could not save me, my church attendance could not save me and no
amount of good living could save me. Only one thing could fill the hole within and truly satisfy and give my life meaning.
I was a sinner and only one thing could change that.
One night when the invitation was given I knew I needed to respond. I still
remember the pastor led me through John 3:16. Jesus had given up His glory and becoming a man. He lived a completely sinless
life and then taking the punishment for my sin he died in my place. My pastor told me that Jesus was the only one who could
fill that empty spot inside me, that nothing else would satisfy that need. We prayed and I asked Jesus to be my Lord and gave
Him my life to do as He wanted. The Bible says that at that moment I became a new man, a brand new start. I would never be
alone again, that he would never leave me or forsake me. It has been many years since that night and it is still as true and
real as the day I gave him my heart.I received my education at Columbia International University and Glen Cove Bible College
majoring in Bible and Theology.
In 1976 I started Eternity Productions presenting the gospel through
ventriloquism, music and the spoken Word, specializing in urban missions and outdoor evangelism.
